Application
Adapt Slab 35 is made from flexible, non-combustible glass mineral wool insulation and has been designed for use as thermal and acoustic insulation across a wide range of applications, including:
The slab’s wide variety of uses means that housebuilders and contractors can be confident in Adapt Slab 35’s capabilities to meet on-site installation demands – no matter the size of the job.
Versatility
Adapt Slab 35 is an extremely versatile insulation product, not only offering thermal benefits, but acoustics too. When installed in internal partitions, it helps reduce noise from adjacent rooms, and when used in internal floors, it reduces sound between different levels. Adapt Slab 35’s multi-application use also means fewer products are needed on-site which contributes to less packaging waste, and in turn helps to reduce on-site storage. Having the right multi-use products on site facilitates quick and efficient installation without delays.
Performance
Adapt Slab 35 can provide acoustic benefits that can help to meet the acoustic insulation requirements of Approved Document E (England & Wales) and Technical Handbook 6 (Scotland). Its noise reduction qualities make this insulation product an ideal choice for housebuilding projects as it can be used in internal floors as well as internal partitions for acoustics.
Thanks to a thermal conductivity of 0.035 W/mK, this Superglass insulation product can be used in thermal applications such as warm pitched roofs, external timber frame walls and suspended timber ground floors.
Adapt Slab 35 is non-combustible, with a fire classification of Euroclass A1 (the highest possible rating) when tested to BS EN 13501-1:2018 Reaction to Fire.
Sustainability
Made from up to 84% recycled glass, the Superglass Adapt Slab 35 can help housebuilders and contractors meet sustainability targets, making it the ideal choice for various developments.
