The first of its kind in the building products market, the ROCKWOOL Interactive City has been developed to enable specifiers, contractors and building owners to explore how ROCKWOOL solutions can be used across the whole of the built environment in a single state-of-the-art 3D space.
Intuitively designed using cutting-edge augmented reality, the ROCKWOOL Interactive City takes visualising, specifying and learning about ROCKWOOL insulation to the next level.
The ROCKWOOL Interactive City comprises housing, commercial buildings, schools, healthcare settings and transportation hubs, meaning users can explore how to improve patient outcomes, increase educational attainment or construct homes that are warmer, safer, quieter with ROCKWOOL products.
When entering the ROCKWOOL Interactive City, users will start at the cityscape. From here they select the sector or building type that’s of interest and will be taken to a close-up scene where they can explore a full 360º view.
Flexibly designed, the City can be used by customers in a variety of ways. They can either browse and discover as described above or use the handy left-hand menu to jump straight to the application they need.
Wherever they are in the Interactive City, ROCKWOOL product applications are indicated with a volcano icon, which once clicked, will take them a 3D view of the application that can be panned, zoomed and rotated for a virtual hands-on experience.
Here they can explore a variety of substrate build-ups and system designs, or choose to dive deeper into specific products, reviewing their features and benefits or clicking through to further product information on the ROCKWOOL website.
Simulating real-world products in the virtual environment, the ROCKWOOL Interactive City is an advanced construction product specification tool for smoother, faster decision-making. Explore the City here.
