Fareham branch takes on challenges for charities!

Our Fareham branch had a busy week taking on challenges for charities.
Fareham Branch Charity Football

On Tuesday 14th May a team from our Encon Insulation and Nevill Long Fareham branch took to the pitch for a 5 aside charity football match, organised by Taylor Wimpey. The team consisted of Sam James - Internal Sales, Rich Harding - Warehouse Operative, Chris Lee - Warehouse Supervisor, Dan White - Sales Executive, Ben Moth - Key Account Manager (Merchants) and Tom Nicholls from Kingspan.

The team had an excellent day, coached and supported by Jason Eastland, Branch Director. They won 3 of 5 group games which saw them in 3rd position and therefore winning the Plate Trophy!

The total amount raised on the day was £7,000 for local charities Naomi House and Abbi’s Army.

Supporting Charities with Challenges

On Sunday 19th May another team from the branch took on a 15-mile bike ride through the New Forest, it took around 1 hour and half to complete. All in aid of local charity FASS Family Autistic Spectrum Support in Fareham, raising around £700.

The team taking on this challenge included Jason Eastland and partner Avril, James Rawstorne - Partitioning Senior Sales, Chris Lee - Warehouse Supervisor / relief HGV driver, Colin Brown - Sales Office Manager and son Fin and Hayley Slattery - Internal Sales.

Excellent work to all involved in these events and raising money for some fantastic charities!
