Capital Quarter No4 is a new seven storey landmark development in the heart of Cardiff’s city centre. The development, along with its sister buildings No1, No2 and No3, replaces dilapidated industrial, warehouse and office buildings.
Property developers, JR Smart wanted to fit suspended ceiling systems into all 13 office spaces and central atrium, spanning across seven floors. The development required a ceiling tile that was ideal for every space. Calling on our Cardiff’s branch technical knowledge and expertise, Michael Parkin, Area Sales Executive at Nevill Long Cardiff, worked with the sub-contractor and Armstrong Ceiling Solutions to determine the best ceiling solution for the project.
The Dune eVo ceiling tiles that were specified in the project offered a cost-effective solution which surpassed the performance of rival brands, offering an all-round performance, unique colour options and ease of installation. Dune eVo ceiling tiles are designed to suit every space in every sector including transport, retail, hotels, workplaces and therefore fit the brief for the development.
The chosen ceiling system created an aesthetically pleasing design, complementing the central atrium and 13 modern open-plan offices.

Capital Quarter No4 provides 77,931sq ft of office space, a sixth floor roof terrace, under croft car & cycle parking, a ground floor breakout area and shower and locker facilities. The development was completed in May 2019 and is already being used as office space for some of the UK’s biggest brands.
