SeaRox Acoustic Foil is a very strong and durable 19 micron thin film resistance to oil/oil mist, water and most other substances expected to be found in the environment of the engine room and can withstand temperature extremes from 70C to 150C. The film contains no plasticizers.
SeaRox Acoustic Foil forms part of the optimal system for sound absorption specifically designed for engine rooms, cargo pumprooms and similar applications. By using the SeaRox Acoustic Foil system, the noise reduction properties of the ROCKWOOL material will remain. The system (mineral wool insulation, film and covered by a perforated steel plate) has been tested and approved for low flame spread. See the datasheet for further information.
