DuPont™ AirGuard® Control is a dedicated air leakage barrier and vapour control layer with 100% airtightness and relatively low vapour resistance, with the main purpose of improving the thermal performance of walls, roofs and ceilings.
The product works as an internal barrier for air movement, moisture and damp penetration within buildings, this prolonging the life span and improving habitable conditions.
The barrier is installed on the warm side of the building and should be combined with the proper underlay installed on the outer side of the surface. The product is very lightweight yet resistant and strong, easily transported and installed, with a transparent surface that eases the installation of insulation.
