The Ablative Coating is used in conjunction with the Ablative Coated batt to enhance fire performance. It is available separately to enable site repairs to Ablative Coated Batts, that may have been damaged during installation. It can also be used in additional fire stopping applications such as linear and trapezoidal applications to provide an effective seal to inhibit the passage of smoke.
