Rockwool Fire Barrier EN

ROCKWOOL Fire Barrier EN is a wire-reinforced high density stone wool roll designed for inhibiting the passage of fire and smoke through extensive cavities within buildings. 

  • Up to EI 120 depending on application.
  • Suitable for concrete and timber supporting constructions.
  • Tested in conjunction with service penetrations.
  • Tested in conjunction with a fire-resisting single leaf timber door set.

ROCKWOOL Fire Barrier EN is suitable for use in the following applications:

  • Concrete soffit, including voids above the head of a plasterboard partition.
  • Timber trusses, running parallel or perpendicular.

The product is also suitable for use with service penetrations and in conjunction with a fire-resisting single leaf timber door set.

ROCKWOOL Fire Barrier EN is mechanically fixed using a proprietary 2mm-gauge Angle Support and Clamping plate.
