Knauf Insulation RainScreen Slab 1200x455x60mm

Rocksilk® RainScreen Slab is a BBA certified Rock Mineral Wool slab designed for use as sheathing insulation in rainscreen façade systems both below and above 18m in height. It is non-combustible with the best possible Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification and is manufactured using Knauf Insulation's unique bio-based binder, ECOSE® Technology.

RainScreen Slab now BBA certified for the broadest range of build-ups and the widest range of thicknesses of any rainscreen solution on the market.

You can use Rocksilk® RainScreen Slab in partially filled masonry cavities in areas of ‘very severe’ exposure zones without having to render or clad the outer leaf. It is now available in 455mm x 1200mm to suit standard centres for installation between wall ties or brick restraint systems.

You can use Rocksilk® RainScreen Slabs for bridging Damp Proof Courses (DPC), as RainScreen Slab has earned the industry’s first BBA certification for bridging DPC’s of the inner and outer leaf.

Another industry first, Rocksilk® RainScreen Slab is now certified for double layering of the slabs in build ups.

It can be used in a timber frame application with a masonry outer leaf and is suitable for use in a reinforced concrete substrate with cladding outer.
