Biobloc Plain (formerly Bioguard Plain) suspended ceiling tiles are designed for application in healthcare settings, particularly in areas where the risk of infection ranges from average to severe. These ceiling tiles have a specialised coating that actively inhibits the growth of bacteria. Water-repellent, they can be disinfected via fogging as well as spray disinfectants in line with existing infection control protocols.
These tiles are designed to support health and wellbeing by seamlessly blending superior acoustic performance with high light reflectance. With a sound attenuation level of 35dB, these ceiling tiles can be specified in meeting and consultation rooms where a level of privacy is required.
As of 29th November 2023 Zentia has renamed this product to Biobloc Plain, you can find out more on their website. This product is now manufactured in the UK and Zentia does not recommend mixing the newly produced Biobloc Acoustic with existing Bioguard Acoustic production in the same project/room.
