    London Olympic and Paralympic Games

    19th July 2012

The Olympic Games are being held between 27th July and 12th August, with the Paralympic Games following on between 29th August and 9th September. As the two largest logistical events in the world, both will inevitably cause disruption to businesses and travel in and around London. The main Olympic venues are located as follows:

    • Olympic Park - Stratford
    • Excel Centre - Docklands
    • Greenwich
    • Central London
    • Wimbledon and Wembley

To aid travel to and from these locations for the athletes and games officials, specific routes have been implemented:  Olympic Route Network (ORN) and also the Paralympic Route Network (PRN). These routes will contain specific transport management measures including the following:

    • No parking/Loading/Unloading on these routes from 6 a.m. to Midnight
    • No right hand turns at any time
    • Banned turns to and from some side roads
    • Removal of parking and loading bays
    • Fines issued for non compliance
